Over the past week, Israel has intensified its offensive against Palestinians from Gaza to the West Bank. These attacks by the Zionist occupation come on the eve of the 73 anniversary of the Nakba or the catastrophe, commemorated today May 15. Nakba day honors the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who were forced to flee into exile during the establishment of the state of Israel and the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. For many, the increase in violence in the last several weeks is nothing more than a continuation of the Nakba and the intensification of the Zionist project of displacement and genocide.
