Sudanese PM announces cabinet of transitional government
The names of 18 of the 20 members of the cabinet were announced by prime minister Abdallah Hamdok. The cabinet includes many who took stands against the regime of former president Omar al-Bashir

A 11-member sovereignty council, headed by the new president general Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, was also sworn in on August 21. Abdullah Hamdok, an economist, was also sworn in as prime minister on the same day
