Climate talks in Poland

The wave of student action in Europe on the issue of climate change continued last week with thousands marching in Switzerland, Germany and Belgium with the demand that political leaders take concrete action on climate change

The call for the protest was given by two students who were inspired by 15-year-old climate activist Greta Turnberg from Sweden, who addressed the climate summit in Katowice in Poland.

The Rulebook at the conference was indeed successfully finalized, but only after diluting several provisions and kicking many important issues down the road.
